PURPOSE:To facilitate atomization of fuel into very fine particles and obtain a uniform air-fuel mixture distribution characteristic by providing a suction air control valve on the lower stream side of the ejection valve of a suction pipe joint in a device in which fuel is supplied by means of a single ejection valve with respect to a plurality of cylinders. CONSTITUTION:Ring-shaped air cleaner 4 is connected to air intake 3 provided on the outer side of joint path 2 of suction pipe branches 1a-1f, and fuel ejection valve 6 is provided on ceiling 5. At venturi 9 provided on the center of the lower surface of the nozzle of ejection valve 6, mushroom-shaped throttle valve (suction air control valve) 8 is fitted so that it can move up and down freely. Shaft 11 of throttle valve 8 can slide along suction pipe bottom 13 and it is connected to throttle valve drive means 14. This drive means 14 opens or closes throttle valve 8 by enclosing piston 17 in cylinder 16 so that it can slide and introducing negative pressure controlled by the electromagnetic valve 19 into negative pressure chamber 18. Electromagnetic valve 19 is controlled by control circuit 22, which operates in coordination with accelerator pedal 22. |
