The vibrating transport trough comprises a number of individually driven (5) conveyor surfaces (1, 2, 3) which are not separated by partitions and not rigidly intercoupled. There are an odd number of such surfaces, so that a surface (3) without drive is always interposed between the surfaces (1, 2) with the vibrator drive. The first surface (3) may be narrower than the other surfaces (1, 2). The surface (3) may be carried by resilient supports or may be rigidly fixed to the support frame. The gaps between adjoining surfaces may be covered by resilient seals.
