METHOD OF SEPARATION OF SOLID PHASE IN THE DRILLING MUD

A method of separation of the solid phase in the drilling mud consisting in forming with the drilling mud, an adhesive layer (2) on a curved closed surface (3) by way of its partial immersing into the drilling mud and simultaneously rotating it. Then a part of that layer is transferred onto another rotating curved closed surface (5) so located that it contacts with a part of the adhesive layer (2). The linear velocity of the adhesive layer (2) and that of the other rotating curved closed surface (5) are maintained essentially equal at their contact point.
