The rocket has a first combustion chamber (5), attached immediately behind the payload (1), which has nozzles (6) inclined at an angle to the axis. It is held on the end of a rod (8) which slides inside a second combustion chamber (2) mounted behind the first one. The second chamber has nozzles (3) at the end of the rocket and is ignited first. As pressure builds up inside it, the rod (8) is pushed forward and moves the first chamber and payload away from the second chamber. The resulting axial gap allows the jets (9) from the first chamber to pass outside the second chamber.
