摘要 PURPOSE:To equalize two channels to each other in a diversity earth station by correcting the delay quantity of a variable delay circuit in the direction to cause this quantity to approach a forecasted quantity and by performing control so that the auxiliary burst may be received in the time slot of the auxiliary burst. CONSTITUTION:Digital fixed delay circuits 20 and 20' are used to absorb the channel length difference casued by the distance between antenna sites A and B. Meanwhile, digital variable delay circuits 21 and 21' are used to absorb the variable channel length difference dependent upon positional fluctuation of a satellite. Here, returned information is referred to from the other-party earth station to correct the delay quantity of circuit 21' in the direction to cause this quantity to approach a forecasted quantity, and control is so performed that the auxiliary burst may be received in the time slot of the auxiliary burst, so that two transmission channels of the diversity earth station can be equalized to each other.
