Blade Sharpening Device

Apparatus for sharpening blades in which the blade 50 is reciprocated against guides 5, 7, 9 and sharpened by a movable, spring-mounted, flat- faced abrasive stone 23. A preferred mounting employs leaf springs 15, 17 pre-curved to restrict stone rotation relative to the guides. Means are described for setting the stone to produce an edge square to the blade.
