The correspondence machine, for corresponding via wire or radio links, has a writing part with a writing device for electrosensitive writing onto a metallised text carrier fed from a supply roll. The writing part has a magazine for written text carriers. The writing part and the magazine are electrically screened. A cutter is located between the writing part and the magazine to cut the text carrier into portions corresponding to separate letters. The writing unit and/or the magazine have a metal conducting casing or metal-coated plastic parts. An electrically sealed window in the writing part allows the user to see the written text carrier.
