<p>A belt for skirts or trousers comprises two strips of fabric mounted one upon the other, and has a front surface bearing a motif and supporting a non-slip surface. The front strip is made of fabric cut on the bias, and the back strip is made of an inextensible fabric which may be non-woven. The two strips are fixed together using a latex impregnation deposited in their central area. The motif is applied either by stencil or in relief. The latex deposit may also provide the non-slip coating.</p> |
