A liquid crystal element whose displaying defect is removed due to the induce domain is composed of transparent electrodes(3a, 3b) comprising a plurality of electrode segment formed in each inside wall of upper and lower substrates(1, 2), liquid crystal(4) interpolated between the substrates, and the substrates(1, 2) making orient a molecule of the liquid crystal to be a twisted configulation. The upper electrode segment is dislocated to the lower electrode segment toward a direction of the view point.
