The particular wagons which can be assembled in a railway train are utilised for the dynamic measurement of compression forces on the curve of the track. The measurements are made by two wagons and a tractive vehicle which eliminates the need for several wagons. Two wagons (1, 2) travelling around a curve are subjected to a dynamic compression test. The wagons are located between two other wagons (3, 4) and drawn by a locomotive (5). Cross pieces (6, 7) on the preceding and following wagons have cables (8, 9) attached to them via hydraulic jacks (10, 11) which allow the tension to be controlled. The test wagons are mounted on special axles (16, 17, 18, 19) where gauges measure the transverse forces that the wagons exert on the axles as the train moves along the track.
|
