<p>The grape harvesting machine comprises a main chassis (1) supported on wheels (5) and adjustable for height. The grapes are removed by oscillating beater arms (16), mounted in side support frames (7, 8) and operating each side of a row of vines. These side frames are freely suspended on front and rear links (21) mounted on the main chassis and hanging vertically (25, 26). When the machine straddles the row off-centre, the pressure on the cover plates (18, 19) the edges (23, 24) of the side frames at the bottom automatically compensate for this effect and centralise the side frames.</p> |
