Clutch withdrawal bearing assembly - has inner race with flange of drawn sheet metal with annular bead and collar
摘要

The clutch withdrawal bearing has a set of balls between a freely-turning inner face with a running flange extending radially outwards on one side and a stationary outer race. The bore of the flange is adjacent to a tubular portion whose I. D. is only slightly greater than the O. D. of the sliding sleeve on which the bearing is mounted. The inner race with a flange (2, 6) is made of drawn sheet-metal, its I. D. being greater than the external sleeve dia. by the amount of a gap seal. Towards the inside of the bearing, it joins via an external annular bead (8) onto an axial collar (9), the outside surface of which forms the inner race proper for the balls (1).
