PURPOSE:To effect temperature adjusting of a resin melting extruder easily by a method wherein a screw of the extruder is made hollow inside and fluid heat transfer medium adjusted in temperature thereof is circulated in the screw. CONSTITUTION:A screw 1 for the extruder is made hollow until a tip portion thereof, a pipe 3 is inserted into the hollow portion 2 and fluid heat transfer medium, adjusted to have a temperature equal to a proper temparature for melt extruding of a resin, is circulated into the hollow portion 2 from the pipe 3. The fluid heat transfer medium is preferable to be a medium such as silicon oil, for example, having a boiling point higher than a heat decomposition point of the resin extruded. A temperature adjusting system is preferable to be partitioned in an internal portion thereof into maze-like divisions by a plurality of buffle plates 6 and to be consisting of a storage tank 5 provided with a heat exchanger 7 heating or cooling the heat transfer medium and a fluid feeding pump 8. |
