PURPOSE:To produce the captioned frame of superior performance with less number of steps by coiling the strip plate whose raw material is austenite-base stainless steel having been subjected to strain-induced martensite transformation, onto the outside circumference of a ring-form frame. CONSTITUTION:A frame 1 is assembled to hollow ring form by curved rims 2, 2' and straight rims 3, 3'. A strip plate 5 whose raw material is the austenite stainless steel having been subjected to strain-induced martensite transformation is coiled in multiple piles and fixed within the U-groove 4 formed on the outside circumference of this frame 1. As the method of fixing the strip plate 5, the end parts of the strip plates 5 are welded in the circumferential direction or in the angle direction close to the circumferential direction, whereby the influence on strength by softening through welding is minimized. The frame constituted in the above manner is subjected to annealing to increase the strength of the strip plate 5, whereby the specified mechanical properties are obtained. |
