<p>PURPOSE:To make possible the simple logic to detect the bite and release without misoperation, by memorizing the rolling load just before biting the rolled material, or just before releasing the rolled material, and by comparing this memorized load data with the actual load data. CONSTITUTION:When the stand (k-1) 20 bites the rolled material 40, the bite signal SB is produced and the load memory 2 memorizes the load signal SL of the load cell 1; at this moment, the stand (k) 30 does not bite the rolled material 40. Since the output of the load cell 1 is identical with the output of the memory 2, the output of the subtracter 4, to operate the difference between the output SM and signal SL, is zero. Next, when the rolled material 40 is bitten into the stand (k) 30, the load signal SL increases, and also the output of the subtracter 4 increases. When this value exceeds the set point alpha1 of the load, the comparator 5 produces the output signal Sc1. When AND is established between the output signal Sc1 and the signal SB, the bite signal Si is produced from the AND circuit 7.</p> |
