The method of making wooden objects of furniture uses pre-assembled sheets. The sheets with adhesive bonding are assembled and nailed together in layers. The sheets of one layer are staggered between the sheets of another layer relative to the joints. The sheets are cut off to match the sheet to which they are to be fixed. The ends of the sheets are smoothed off on each edge. Various alternative forms of assembly are possible. The assembly gives greater strength by using cross-grained components.
