The wall fitting is for the installation of an electrical socket. The sockets are made with fittings on opposite sides with entries for conduits for the wiring. The sockets contain a coil spring used in the mounting. The wall fitting consists of a hollow truncated cone made of plastics with four prongs projecting radially and symmetrically spaced around the base. The ends are adapted to the shape of the internal angle of the socket. The top surface of the cone and the prongs are fitted with four blades extending upwards. They are used to engage the fitting along the diagonals of the sockets by spring loading.
