High pressure hose production method - has socket made with larger cross=section than required and radially crimped after final assembly

The high pressure hose (8) fitting has a nipple encased in a socket. The nipple (1) has partial outer ring grooves and at its end a conical cover surface. The socket (4) has inner ring grooves (5) over a length greater than that of the area of the nipple which it encompasses. The socket is produced with a cross-section which is greater han that necessary for its end section after assembly of the whole fitting. The outer dia. of the hose at its connecting end is reduced, the hose being pushed into the socket and the nipple into the hose. The socket is radially crimped together along its entire length.
