PURPOSE:To obtain a smooth paste of cow bones containing large amounts of nutriments e.g., bone marrow proteins, and Ca, by grinding cow bones, passed through two choppers with outlet ports of specific diameters in order to two stages, in a sliding mill. CONSTITUTION:Cow bones from the hopper 5 of a chopper are fed to the outlet by the screw 4 driven by the pulleys 6, and pulverized by the sliding of the knife 3 rotating with the screw 4 and the plate 2 into fragments, which are passed through the outlet 1 having a diameter of 5-10mm, and passed through another chopper having the outlet 1 of diameter 1-5mm in two stages, and then ground by a mill to form a paste. The addition of chipped ice, ice water, or water to the fragments permits the smooth rotation of the choppers or sliding mill. |
