PURPOSE:To improve the graphic display speed of a graphic processing system by rapidly deciding on and displaying the position relation to a display area of dots or segments of a display pattern. CONSTITUTION:Display area date R1 of right and left X coordinates XL and XR, and top and bottom Y coordinates YT and YB of a display area are compared by comparator 3 with coordinate data R2 of X coordinate (x) and Y coordinate (y) of a dot or segment of a display patten, and a row of four bits is outputted as the comparison result. For the purpose, one or two groups of bit patterns of rows of bits are decoded to decide on and display the position relation to the display area of dots or segments. |
