<p>PURPOSE:To improve processing performance by adding one arithmetic unit and control registers stored with programs and their states corresponding to the programs. CONSTITUTION:Control registers 5-1-5-n, provided, are stored with program state information corresponding to programs, and arithmetic data. Once a detection circuit in main memory control unit 3 detects a free time due to data queueing, control unit 4 selects one of control registers 5-1-5-n according to the prescribed procedure and then supplies the contents of the selected one to arithmetic unit 6.</p> |
