PURPOSE:A hair-dye composition with beautiful color tone that contains the product obtained by culturing a microorganism belonging to Pseudomonas in an aqueous medium containing benzoic acid or pyrocatechol, as the major component, thus showing minimized sensitivity. CONSTITUTION:Pseudomonas nov. SP. LF3101 (FERM3299) is cultured in an aqueous solution containing benzoic acid, its salt or pyrocatechol at 6.0-8.0 pH and 20-35 deg.C over 12hr, preferably for 24-72hr. The product is used as the major component to produce said hair-dye composition. |
