PURPOSE:To faciliate adjustment of an inclination of steering main shaft by guiding a steering main shaft supporting block movable vertically in a supporting frame and fixing it with a stopper claw. CONSTITUTION:A supporting frame 4 guides a main shaft supporting block 3 with a pin 17 penetrating a circular arc hole 16 and a link 18 pivoted thereto and coupled to a lever 8a at the other end. The lever 8a has a tooth 11 along a circular arc with a center axis of the pivot 9 as the center; a claw 12 pushed flexibly to a position whereat it is fitted to the tooth 11 with a compression coil spring 14 is coupled to a lever 8b through cable 15. A suitable inclination of the main shaft 1 is obtained through turning the lever 8b, and then from folding it to the position of 8b' with a hinge 10, the cable 15 gets loose, and the claw 12 and the tooth 11 are fitted each other, thus fixing the main shaft to the inclination. |
