Conveyro for articles, partic for conveying freshly printed sheets, comprises a conveyor member supported for movement along a path of travel across a support bed surface. A charge is established across the upper surface of the conveyor member, e.g. by contact with a PTFE triboelectric member, and the bed surface so that an article placed on the conveyor surface assumes the charge level of the conveyor surface and is urged by electrostatic force towards the bed surface into frictional engagement with the conveyor member so as to ensure conveyance of the articles across the surface.
