PURPOSE:To set a musical sound as an alarm sound by generating the melody sound through a musical scale programmable divider, a rhythm programmable divider, etc. CONSTITUTION:At a set alarm time, unlocking switch 13 is closed, and the prescribed-stage frequency division output from frequency divider circuit 2 through alarm sound control circuit 14 is applied to musical scale programmable divider 4 as a clock, and prescribed musical scale signal is generated according to musical scale data from memory 3. Similarly, rhythm programmable divider 5 where another prescribed-stage ferquency division output of circuit 2 is applied as a clock segments the signal according to rhythm data from memory 3, and musical scale sound and note length is controlled through musical instrument sound control circuit 8 for every selective segment dependent upon musical instrument sound selection switch 7, thus emitting the melody sound as an alarm sound from speaker 9. |
