PURPOSE:To enable gumming up efficient in operation of a printing plate, correction processing, etc. without requiring water washing, by processing a developed pohtosensitive lithographic printing plate with an aqueous solution containing a surfactant. CONSTITUTION:A developed lithographic printing plate is processed with an aqueous solution containing a surfactant, such as polyoxyethylene alkylethers or polyoxyethylene aliphatic acid esters in an amount of 0.1-20wt% (preferably 0.5- 10wt%). It is desirable that the above aqueous solution further containing a buffer or an oleophilic substance (oleic acid, lauric acid or the like) is used. |
