<p>To recover solvent from the exhaust air stream in a clothes chemical cleaning equipment, the exhaust air (A) passes through a deep cooling stage. Pref. there is an absorber (10) located after the deep cooling stage, which is provided in several steps (13.1-13.4). The deep cooling acts as a counter stream to the coolant circuit (16), with low temp. solvent used as a coolant, and the deep cooling action is a combination of mixed and direct contact between the recirculating air (U), exhaust air (A) and the coolant. The exhaust air (A) is caught in a store (18). The deep-cooled exhaust air (A) is passed through a cooling unit after the solvent has been sepd. as a coolant. The process gives a pre-cleaning action will low energy consumption.</p> |
