PURPOSE:To obtain a miniature and lightweight transmitter of high quality which is stable for a long period by using optical fiber reduced low in loss and light function elements (a light switch and light distributor) for a transmission system of a remote supervisory controller under inferior conditions in terms of electromagnetism. CONSTITUTION:The connection direction of light switch 6 is normally set to connect light transmitter 2 to fiber 7, and a control signal generated by transmitting terminal equipment 1 is converted by light transmitter 2 into a photo signal, which is sent to a subordinate station. The photo signal sent to the subordinate station side is passed through a light distrubutor and light directional coupler and then converted by light receiver 9 into an electric signal, which is sent to receiving terminal equipment 10. Here, light receiver 9 or terminal equipment 10 on the subordinate station side is provided with a function of supervising signals transmitted from a master station side. Next, when the master station requires information on the subordinate station, the connection directions of light switch 6 are changed by control switch 5. |
