PURPOSE:To make it possible to avoid the occurrence of lengthwise flutes on a plate at a location, where the thickness of said plate changes, or the problem of wire breakages, by controlling the feeding velocity of said plate and/or conditions of processing electric current whenever the thickness of the plate increases or decreases. CONSTITUTION:Processing current is supplied from a pulse power supply device 5 between a wire electrode 2 and a processed object 1. Average value of processed voltage and reference voltage are input to an error amplifier 6, error voltage of the both is sent through an A-D converter 7 to a computer 8. The computer 8 gives output to a velocity distributor 9 to generate output for driving an X-axial direction driving motor 10 and a Y-axial direction driving motor 11. Thickness changing part is detected with catch of changes of processing feed velocity, in this section, either one or both of the processing feed velocity and/or processing electric condition is or are controlled. |
