The chair is for driving cabs of conveying equipment such as excavators, crane etc. The driving cab, or a supporting frame, is carried by four pairs of rollers in the corners of the cab, or the frme, in at least two guide rails. Two pairs of rollers (17, 18) in the same horizontal plane are supported on one swing arm (16) which is connected with the driving cab or its frame so that it can pivot about a vertical axis (15). Preferably at least one roller pair is mounted in the swing arm region, and its rolls straddle a further guide rail, parallel to the first one. On the side, away from the swing arm may be mounted another roller pair, also straddling the additional guide rail.
