<p>The rolling bellows assembly of rubber or similar material is used for a vehicle air-suspension system, it has continuous embedded reinforcing fibrous members inclined to the bellows axis, between its mounting beads while a cylindrical tension-resistant belt encloses its central portion. Where the dia. is greatest, the members are at an angle of between 25 deg. and 90 deg. to the cross-sectional plane of the bellows (3). The belt (16) is built up of two or more layers of parallel fibrous reinforcing members at between 0 deg. and 25 deg. to this plane, those members in successive layers crossing each other.</p> |
