PURPOSE:To effect conditioning comfortably by a method wherein an indoor unit is constituted with a room cooling unit provided above a room to be air-conditioned and a room heating unit provided below the same room. CONSTITUTION:An outdoor unit 1 and an indoor unit are communicated by a piping for a cooling medium. This indoor unit is consisting of a room cooling unit 15 provided above a room A to be air-conditioned and a room heating unit 16 provided below the same room A, and heat exchange is effected at an upper portion of the room A upon a room cooling operation by operations wherein an electromagnetic valve 5 for the room cooling is opened, an electromagnetic valve 7 for the room heating is closed and the room cooling unit 15 is used. On the other hand, the heat exchange is effected at a lower portion of the room A upon room heating operation by operations wherein the electromagnetic valve 5 is closed, the electromagnetic valve 7 is opened and the room heating unit 16 is used. According to these operations, a comfortable environment may be obtained in any of the cases. |
