PURPOSE:To make possible the welding of high quality free from the production of dust by moving an objective lens in the optical axis direction of laser light thereby gradually changing the energy density that falls onto the welding work. CONSTITUTION:Laser light 5 emitting from a laser oscillator 1 is led to the specified position by a mirror 2 and is focused on the welding work 4 by an objective lens 3, whereby welding is accomplished. Here, the position of the objective lens 3 is continuously or discontinuously changed in the optical axis direction of the laser light 5 to continuously or discontinuously change the energy of the laser light 5 being radiated to the welding work 4, whereby the welding work 4 is preheated and welded. According to this method, it becomes possible to three-dimensionally take out the working conditions of the laser welding and perform wide welding. |
