PROCESS FOR RECOVERING ZINC SULPHIDE FROM ZINC SULPHIDE CONTAINING CONCENTRATES A process for recovering zinc sulphide from zinc sulphide containing concentrates is disclosed. The process comprises subjecting the concentrate to aeration in an aqueous medium at a temperature higher than 50.degree.C in the presence of lime; floating zinc sulphide as a rougher concentrate in the presence of copper sulphate and a suitable flotation collector; grinding the zinc sulphide rougher concentrate; reaerating the ground concentrate in an aqueous medium at a temperature higher than 50.degree.C in the presence of lime; and cleaning the pulp by flotation in the presence of copper sulphate and a suitable flotation collector.
