PURPOSE:To reduce the canti-lever travelling time of sound information and to enable reproduction with high fidelity, by providing the canti-lever having the construction that the group speed of wave flux is faster and the length is short. CONSTITUTION:The shape of the canti-lever taking diamond as the material is a square about 0.4mm in one side and the length is about 2.5mm. The surface 3 mounting the stylus chip 2 is cut with a slope of about 22 deg. from the horizontal plane. The stylus chip 2 is mounted orthogonal to the mounting plane 3. When the stylus chip 2 is placed vertically to the record disc-plane, the tracking angle is about 22 deg.. The canti-lever 1 is cut in taper to reduce the equivalent mass of the tip and the plane 4 is formed. Further, this canti-lever 1 is fitted to the armature of the MC- type pick up cartridge at the end opposite to the stylus. |
