The switch, which is operated by a rocking action has a hollow part (6) forming the rocker (6), which also houses a socketless lamp bulb (16). This lamp is supported by a surface (18) of an arm (7) projecting from the hollow part, and which rocks with the hollow part. The stem part contains a spring (10, 12) which holds a plunger (11) down against a rocking contact (8). At the far end of the rocker arm is a channel with a hole (13') through it for a spring (10') resting against the sloping forked top (35) of a contact blade (35). Both springs are of the same design, but the rear spring (10') can be shortened to suit the switching arrangement for the indicator bulb (16). The top of the contact blade is bent correspondingly.
