<p>PURPOSE:To secure the high-accuracy and smooth display for the level change by giving the slow and sudden change to the input and output characteristics in the small and large ranges of the input signal level respectively. CONSTITUTION:With supply of the input signal of a comparatively low level, the output of amplifier A1 is extracted with the comparatively slow slope shown by straight line I and then undergoes the level comparison through level detection circuit 2. And light emitting diodes D17-D24 in comparatively low level range L are lit up. While with arrival of the input signal of a comparatively high level, the output of amplifier A2 is extracted with the comparatively sudden slope shown by straight line II. In that case, the output of amplifiers A1 and A2 are mixed up by mixing resistances R6 and R7, and thus the mixture output characteristics features as shown by line III. Accordingly, the mixture output receives the level comparison through circuit 2 to give the light emission to light emitting diodes D1-D17 in comparatively high level range H.</p> |
