The unit is used for orchard spraying. It comprises a frame (1) on wheels (2) which carries a main fan (6) with outlet openings (9) arranged on either side, and at least one auxiliary fan (12) whose outlet opening (13) is arranged at a higher level than those of the main fan. A duct (11) connects the outlet of the main fan to the inlet side of the auxiliary fan(s). The lower end of the duct may be secured to the upper end of the pressure side of the main fan between two lateral outlet openings.
