For the fitting of a skylight, an elevating frame 11 is used, which is provided with an inward-facing shoulder 17 designed to receive the casement 16 of the window after the frame is fixed to the roof. The casement has sufficient height to allow fixing and adjusting screws 41 to be driven from inside through the casement out into the frame. The frame 11 is provided with plate clamps 12, which, by being bent over, can be made to secure a so-called cover fitting 13, which is attached to the frame directly before the casement is lowered into place. The frame 11 and casement 16 are formed with inward- facing shoulders 38 and 42 respectively, which make it possible to pull cladding panels 39 and 40 up past the joints between frame and roof and between casement and frame respectively. A draught excluder 29 can be inserted in a groove in the contact surface between casement and frame. <IMAGE> |
