Rotary grass mower with blower - has blower above cutter blade disc to improve grass catching and motor cooling

The mower has a hollow body and a motor (12) which is mounted on top of the body and has a downwardly depending shaft (11) carrying a cutter blade disc (17). An annular discharge chute (6) is formed by the body above the cutter blades for receiving and discharging grass cuttings. An air blower (30) is located above the disc (17) and within the body. The blower draws air downwards from the top of the body into an annular chamber defined by the chute (6). The blower improves grass catching and cools the motor. Pref. the blower is centrifugal with radial fan blades.
