<p>The nut cracker has a base with a hollow to hold the nut in its flat top. A weight is dropped vertically down guides, perpendicular to this, to crack the nut. The internal faces of the guides are flat and have grooves down which balls roll to guide the weight. Elastic studs, on each side of the hollow, prevent damage if the weight is dropped when there is no nut in place and there is a supple stand under the base. The top of the guides are fitted into a cap.</p> |
