<p>A profiled reed dent (1, 2) for a reed having a guide channel for the weft thread possesses, on its profiled edge, a single projection (3, 4), one flank (5, 7) of which is provided as part of the wall of the guide channel. When this profiled reed dent (1, 2) is used for the reed of a jet-weaving machine, a group of first reed dents (1) is assembled with the said flank (5) directed towards one longitudinal edge of the reed and a group of second reed dents (2) is assembled with the said flank (7) directed towards the other longitudinal edge of the reed. <IMAGE></p> |
