PURPOSE:To prevent a license plate illuminating lamp from being damaged by folding the outermost layer of a shock-absorbing bumper inside and mounting the lamp on the folded section from the outer surface of the bumper strength member at preset intervals even when the bumper is deformed at the time of a car crash. CONSTITUTION:The license plate 4 is mounted on the rear of the bumper strength member 2 with rigidity in the notches section of the bumper. The lamp 7 is mounted on the section which is folded inside from the upper part of the notched section of the surface layer of the bumper 1 from the rear of the bumper strength member 2 at preset intervals. Further, the mounting position of the lamp 7 can be increased more higher than the upper end face of the bumper strength member 2 and the rear upper corner of the bumper strength member 2 can be formed obliquely. This permits the lamp 7 to move together with the surface layer of the bumper 1 without being damaged even when it is deformed at the time of a car crash. |
