PURPOSE:To prevent wasteful power consumption by driving car clock display unit through a normally-open seat-switch that closes when seated. CONSTITUTION:Time measure section 1b of digital car clock 1 always counts time through vehicle-mounted battery 4 and constant voltage regulator 5. Break switches 2, 3 are provided on the seats for driver and helper. When at least one switch is seated and closed, battery 4 supplies power to digital display 1d of clock 1, and time is indicated. Accordingly, power is supplied to the display 1d that consumes relatively large power, only when people enter the car and time indication is needed, and therefore, unrequired power consumption is prevented. |
