<p>The window frame is made from extruded sections. These have mitred ends butted to form a joint. One or two panes of glass can be used with their edges sealed into the frame. The corner joint has an L-shaped corner piece, slotted (20, 21) into a channel formed behind the channels for the glass. This corner piece has a wedge-shaped portion (22) protruding into the glass channels and communicating (30) with the external surface of the frame. Sealant is injected down this passage (29) to seal the corner joint.</p> |
