The drink dispensing machine comprises a refrigerated tank form which milk is drawn into a dosing jar by vacuum created by a motor driven pump when a coin operated mechanism is activated. Two fixed and one adjustable probe electrodes in the jar are connected via a power cut out circuit to operate a control circuit for the motor and pump. A ball valve in the dispensing tube is activated by the depressurisation in the jar to be applied against the orifice to close the valve. Hygienic conditions are preserved by use of the pump which creates vacuum conditions to allow milk to flow without passing through the pump. Rinsing actions complete the cleaning processes.
