PURPOSE:To obtain a small-size VTR where a motor only for tape loading is not required, by moving a moving body, which loads a magnetic tape onto a tape guide drum, by a capstan driving source. CONSTITUTION:When recording and reproducing operation button 53 is depressed, clutch arm 76 is rotated, and idler gear 77 is geared into gear 70. Rotation of capstan 38 is transferred to gear 74 through idler gear 77 to move moving body 18A to the tape loading direction. By rotation of tape loading end position detection material 98, clutch arm 76 is rotated to release gearing of idler gear 77 and complete the tape loading operation. Since a motor only for tape loading or unloading is not required, a very small-size VTR can be obtained. |
