This invention provides an apparatus for measuring a liquid sample, comprising a liquid sample measuring apparatus (110a)for measuring the concentration of a specific component contained in a liquid sample deposited in a spot form on a biosensor (30). A timer (122) for measuring the time taken from the mounting of the biosensor (30) to spotting of the liquid sample onto the biosensor (30) is provided. The measurement result of the concentration of the specific component in the liquid sample spotted onto the biosensor (30) is corrected based on the time measured by the timer (122). The above constitution can improve the measurement accuracy by utilizing a correction algorithm for which the environment temperature and the temperature of the biosensor per se have been taken into consideration.
