<p>A switching installation switches the drive current on or off on rail sections of twin conductor rails of model railways. The rail sections are separated by insulating points, the rails consisting of a sleeper grid to which the rails are attached. A base plate, to be attached below or between the sleepers, is equipped with an adjustable contact support, guided in every direction and movable transverse to the direction of the rail into a position making contact. The plate is fitted with an electric contact spring which bridges the separating point below the upper edge of the rail.</p> |
