Sintered magnetic material

The material is obtained by compression and sintering of an alloy powder whose composition satisfies the formula Sm(Co0.85Fe0.05Cu0.10Zn0.02)8.0. During the sintering, carried out under vacuum, the zinc is almost completely removed. The material has a very high coercive force, of the order of 8000 Oe, which has a close dependence on the ratio between Sm and the other elements.
